Below is a list of Jobcentres for East
Hampshire and West Sussex. Although jobcentres
cover a specific area, if you become unemployed, you can
choose to attend another for personal reasons, or if it
is more convenient.
NOTE As of April 2003 the Employment Services and
Benefits Agency have been merged to form a new
organisation called 'Jobcentre Plus', so there might be
some changes, such as Havant, who have moved premises.
To claim jobseekers allowance if you become unemployed,
you will need to contact your local or preffered
jobcentre to make an appointment.
Anyone can visit Jobcentres to see the range of jobs on
display, most of which can be viewed more easily on www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk
. Alternatively you can phone the national jobsline on 0845
6060 234 to see what is available in the your
