Wednesday 12th April 2006.
It's
been a long while
sunshine has come to the shoreline
I overslept my dental appointment
and walked down the shore
Just half-a-mile away
chasing rarely allows for such simple pleasure
how sad
How good
to see the ones who do
the children play
on the rough rock sea defences
of this peaceful harbour
Cumulus sail the sky
while I sit looking out
to Hayling's Eastoke
and West
the Millennium Tower
twinned with pylon
Families walk
kids throws stones
in the sea
Walking the dog
is good enough
for some
Beach Road ends
at the shore
what more could I want
What do we need
Horses ride the path
dog splash endlessly
after sunken stones
without question
while the sun reflects
on water
At last it's spring
Rex's thirty year old oak fence
with the top missing
in one section
Above pinned on pine
Fashion
show poster
community centre
clothes of all sizes
it says
Alstoemerias
April talk
by Mr Smith
And the memoirs
of Flanders and Swan
at the Station Theatre
Huge eucalyptus
divides fence from fence
with its mottled trunk
Dave's weeping willow fronds
follows wind
from the west
green with new growth
He's not up yet.
Until
the next time
have fun.
More to come...............
I will be adding
additional image galleries with enough time.
