Thinking Time

This accomplished artist has successfully exhibited and sold her work over many years. Her work covers a diverse range of subjects in all media.
Jo studied at the Sutton College of Liberal Arts for three years, covering oil, watercolour, pastel and life drawing. Regarding the latter, she recalls her tutor's comment i.e. "once you have mastered drawing parts of the human form suggesting muscle and bone, the rest will come easy".
Her first love remains with oil but Jo also paints beautiful watercolours. For relaxation she paints flowers.
Jo has many outlets for her work - her first exhibition was with Sutton Arts Council. She currently exhibits with Emsworth Artists.
She is happy to undertake commissions in any subject or media.
Widowed at an early age, painting has filled a major gap in Jo's life. She is encouraged and supported by her family and never fails to get a buzz from a red 'sold' sticker on her work.
