Born 1963
Darryl grew up
with strong influences from his father
who was always painting.
In 2003 he
achieved his A level in Art at
Southdowns College.
Married, with
children, Darryl's art was pushed aside,
having a family to support.
Since being
self-employed, a cobbler, he now has
free time to paint again and doesn't
waste a minute. He has had many
commissions for portraits, both animal
and people. They are proving extremely
popular.
Darryl is
currently working on a body of work for
his first solo exhibition, which he
hopes will be in December 2008. He is
showing how the old world fits in the
modern world of today. Painting
his local history with how it quietly
stands with us today in the twenty-first
century.
This work should
prove to be very interesting.
Darryl undertakes
commissions and works from photographs.
