| Below are pictures
taken along the beach on Hayling Island, starting south
of Station Road and working eastwards to end up at
Eastoke corner. The day (23rd Feb.2004) started with a
clear sky but clouded over in the afternoon to crete some
dramatic lighting effects over high water. Hayling front is much less built up than Southsea, with far more space to roam, walk the dogs and picnic, with its grass expanses and sand dunes. The curve of the beach gives views to Southsea to the west and Selsea to the east, With the Isle of Wight across the Solent. Click on
