Emsworth has had a good number of mills in its time with two tidal millponds. Below are galleries of the main one, a favorite spot for walkers and those with children for whom feeding the swans is a favourite pastime. The swans like it too. The Westbrook millpond fed by the stream of that name was once a tidal inlet with its own shipyard, on the site of of St Peters chapel in the Square, built in 1789. For more see 'A Brief History'.
