RECORD BREAKING WESTBOURNE RIDE.

Two last minute payments brought the total to £1,667, a record for this event - all of which will be urgently used by The British Heart Foundation for the relief of cardio vascular diseases. The ride attracted over 50 cyclists for the Westbourne Sponsored Ride on Sunday 15^th June.

The draw for the mountain bike which had been kindly donated by The Bike Hut Havant was picked out by the manager Mr Alex Wrixton. A delighted Mrs M Drage of Emsworth held the winning ticket. She had also won the shield for collecting the greatest amount of individual sponsorship with £150.30. Mr Kingswell riding for Southbourne Lions won the cup for collecting the greatest amount for the team award with £300. The team Daviesco won a special award for the family team collecting the greatest amount with £358. Mr & Mrs Paul Davies and their three children made up the team.
